About Kraft Paper Bags

SOS (Self-Opening Satchel) bags have a flat bottom and no handles — they stand upright on their own and are designed for food service, delis, and takeout. Handle bags (flat or twisted handle) are designed for retail carry and come with paper handles attached at the top, making them easier for customers to carry out of a store.

For grocery bags, we recommend 100–120 GSM kraft paper. 120 GSM offers excellent durability for heavier loads like produce and canned goods. For lighter retail use, 75–90 GSM works well. We can produce bags in any GSM between 75–120 depending on your load requirements — just mention it when you request a quote.

Our minimum order is typically 500 bags per size/style for standard unprinted bags. For custom printed bags with your logo, the minimum is generally 1,000 units. Contact us for exact MOQs on specific sizes — we work with small businesses and can sometimes accommodate lower quantities.

Yes, we ship wholesale orders to businesses across all 50 US states. We work with freight carriers for large pallet orders and standard couriers for smaller shipments. Shipping costs and lead times are included in your quote.

Custom printed bags typically take 3–5 weeks from artwork approval to delivery. This includes production and shipping time. Rush orders may be available — reach out to discuss your timeline and we'll do our best to accommodate.

We carry flat ribbon handles (great for boutique and retail bags) and twisted paper handles (stronger, preferred for grocery and food service). Both are available in brown kraft and white kraft. Flat handles are standard on our grocery-size bags.
